Dr. Capes is OK, but be aware that they will NOT file any Medicare/Medicaid claims. Also, when they filed under our non Medicare insurance dental plan, it was rejected. They should have filed it as due to an accident (the damage was caused by a slip and fall) but wouldn't do so. As near as I can tell, if they would file under Medicare then they're limited to "usual, customary and reasonable " fees (roughly a third of what we had to pay up front, $1300 vice $4500). My recommendation is to NOT use this practice. Other Doctors can provide comparable service and treatment without overcharging.

I have never been to a more professional dentist/doctors office than Coastal Oral Surgery. They respect your time and I have never had to wait a long time. Although you don’t have to wait, Dr. Capes still answers all questions which says his scheduling of appointments is accurate. I believe his fees are very good for surgery and he has done an excellent job with the 5 implants he did for me. His staff are professional and very kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Capes at Coastal Oral Surgery to anyone who needs oral surgery.
