Unbelievable service. Everyone in the office were extremely helpful and competent. I had a tooth removed and afterwards that night Dr. Capes called to see how I was. I have had other office personnel call me before, but never the Dr. What a great experience.

I had excess gums that needed to be removed due to my braces pulling my gap together. When I first started with the office everything seemed great! The procedure went off without a hitch. It wasn’t until the bills started coming was there then an issue. I know I’m only 26 (23 at the time), but i’m very well versed in my insurance. I have primary and secondary and at the end of the day, I should of had a very minimal co pay. I was constantly being sent bills, but when I would attempt to call and discuss them there was always a phone busy issue or no one would pick up. Well when the finally called me, I answered and informed her I was on vacation and I had none of the information on me but she just kept insisting on me giving her my information to take care of the bill, and how my insurance was insufficient. She was so rude and upset me so much. I called my insurance companies myself. She explained how they requested more information from the office but never received a response. She placed me on hold and tried to call their office and then came back and said she got no answer. I then place the insurance on hold and attempted a 3 way myself. I was able to get through. I proceed to tell her that I have my insurance on the line and she is saying it is your office that is being negligent in handling my insurance. She then proceeded to try and just give the information from my file over the phone. I demanded a “paper trail” be made because of the consistent negligence so this would not be a problem and the “service fees” be negated because the “hold up” was no fault of my own. She then proceeded to be rude, I asked to speak to an office manager and “there was none”. I was put on the phone with the person who has worked in the office the longest. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Especially anyone of “color”. Dr. Capes was excellent but his staff is his tragic downfall. So glad to be done with this office!
