I have been a patient of Dr. Capes for over 20 years. He is an excellent and caring doctor and his staff have always, always, always given 100% to me. I have had several procedures through the years and have not ever had anything but excellent experiences. From the time you walk in the door to the time you walk out, there isn’t a question that goes unanswered or a doubt about the quality of care you will receive. I cannot recommend Coastal Oral Surgery enough. So much so, that I drive almost two hours to see him and his staff. I’ve sent every family member to him and consider him the only oral surgeon that I trust.

My boyfriend got his wisdom teeth surgery done here a week ago and they failed to weigh him beforehand and failed to give him enough anesthesia. Instead of stopping to give him more anesthesia so he wouldn’t feel his teeth being cracked and drilled out, they instead had three people hold him down while he cried in pain through the entire procedure. He came out traumatized and in tears, he was fully aware when he got in my car and continued to experience pain. There was no sign of any affects of anesthesia when he got in my car. He was able to tell me everything that happened and everything he heard throughout the procedure. A very traumatizing experience due to negligence. I do not recommend going here.
